Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (HSAAS), formerly known as UPM Teaching Hospital (HPUPM), is a purpose-built tertiary teaching hospital located adjacent to the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and Serdang Hospital. Developed with an investment of over RM500 million, the hospital integrates patient care, medical education, and clinical research within a modern healthcare environment. The 400-bed facility houses more than 3,000 rooms across a six-storey hospital block and is designed to support specialist healthcare, academic training, and research. Constructed using Green Building standards and achieving an 80% Industrialised Building System (IBS) score, HSAAS reflects UPM’s commitment to sustainable development and innovation in healthcare infrastructure. It was officially inaugurated as Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah on 28 February 2023.
